Vincent La Foret
Voted as one of the 100 most influential people in photography and Pulitzer prize winner Vincent La Foret's work is amazing. Take a look at his Blog for recent work and geeky photography stuff or SmugMug to watch his videos in High def. It's worth it!!!
Merdanchik
I have been loving the work of Merdanchik recently and this video makes me want to get my draw on. I think it's also time I get used to using a tablet.

Thunderbirds
I have been reading Russell Davies' post on Thunderbirds and how wealthy the Tracy family had to be to fund all their stuff, including the space programme.
I suppose they would need to be as wealthy as the Branson family.

Design*Sponge Paris Guide
Anne Ditmeyer writes about going out in Paris:
"Back in my day as a student in Paris, Buddha Bar and Barrio Latino were the it places to be (they even sold their own soundtracks so you could take a bit of the experience home with you). And I think I’ll always be a fan of Favela Chic for it’s unsuspecting location, and delicious Brazilian dinner that later turns into dance party with mojitos and caipirinhas and dancing on tables if you stay late enough. But luckily Lily filled me in on the two hot places of the moment: Mama Shelter a new hotel with beautiful design and a great bar, and Cha Cha Club - a new fashionable restaurant bar with fantastic interiors (it may be a bit expensive, but everyone is talking about it). Overall, the 3rd and 10th arrondisements [districts] are the places to be these days."
It made me laugh as I am looking for cool places to go out because I always end up in Favela Chic! Not sure about Cha Cha Club though it was a little pretentious last time I went. I really should check out the bar at Mama Shelter next time I am on my way over to la fleche d'or.

Glass water bottles
I saw these in a great little design shop down in near St. Paul a couple of weeks ago and thought they were amazing. They have just be blogged on remodelista. I think I will go and stock up on them this weekend. They are just a little too pretty not to have.
